Beyond the Trail
IB Field Studies
Some of the most meaningful science lessons happen when students step into the environments they are studying.
Every Step is a Story
Discover the World Through Adventure
We provide the locations, resources, and expert guidance for students to complete Biology, Environmental Systems & Societies (ESS), and Geography through immersive field experiences, placing them within real ecosystems where they can collect and analyze data on ecological relationships, biodiversity, and environmental impacts first-hand. From coastal ecosystems to seagrass habitats, students see real life applications of the theories such as nutrients and symbiosis they learn in class within real natural systems.
Throughout the programme, students will collect data to fulfill the requirements of their IA. We provide suitable field environments, logistical support and step by step guidance in data collection methods as well as full statistical analysis and interpretation. This allows students to engage in authentic investigation while meeting their academic requirements.
